Welcome back to the overview of my Bright Future Program!
As we continue our discussion about the fourth pillar of recovery: Mental and Physical Health, I’m going to discuss the importance of finding those things you enjoy and do well at. While in recovery we often find ourselves with feelings of lack, and a great way to get our mind to change its focus is to force it to think about the positives in our life. Making a list of these things, especially with the help of our family and friends will solidify in our mind that these things are real.
I’ll share a personal journey that I have begun, and I’d love to have you join me and to hear your words of encouragement!
