Self Esteem and Confidence

Welcome back to the overview of my Bright Future Program!

As we continue our discussion about the fourth pillar of recovery: Mental and Physical Health, I’m going to touch on the importance of improving our self esteem and confidence.  How we feel about ourselves internally and projecting that publicly will have a big impact on a successful recovery.

I’ll share a very personal story about one of my low points with my own self esteem and how much I needed to work on to pull myself up.  It is my hope that this will serve to show you that you can do it too!

How have you been able to turn around your low moments with self esteem or confidence?  Let me know in the comments below!

For more information on my recovery story, please check out my book To Cry a Dry Tear: Bill MacPhee’s journey of hope and recovery with schizophrenia.

Please help me reach those who need this information by sharing it with those you know who would benefit.
